Hooklift Skip Bin

A hooklift skip bin is rolled off the back of the supplier’s truck.  They’re generally longer in length and have lower sides with a rear opening tailgate for bobcat access.  Most trucks will need an access clearance of at least 3 metres.

In most areas you’ll require a permit to place your hire skip anywhere else than on your property – that is, on the nature strip or road.  As time limits can apply on permits you must contact your local council for more information before your skip is delivered.

We’ve provided a guide of approximate hooklift skip bin dimensions below as the actual bin dimensions may vary from supplier to supplier.
