You would choose a Mixed Heavy Waste skip bin for renovations and large building or heavy yard cleanups. It is suitable for household clean up’s including bricks, concrete, soil, tiles, and rock. General and green waste is also acceptable in these skips.

The following items are strictly not allowed in a Mixed Heavy Waste skip bin. These include, perishable waste i.e. food waste, asbestos, hazardous waste, insulation material of any kind, liquids i.e. paint, oils, chemicals, gas bottles, and empty chemical containers. Dry paints in cans are accepted.

If you require a bin to have the above items please contact us.

At Skip Bins Online we are aware that it can be difficult to distinguish the difference between the various bin sizes, we therefore recommend you take the time to visit our FAQ’s and Waste Types pages to find the answers to questions you may have. For your convenience, all of these pages are printable to assist you with cross referencing whilst loading your bin. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you continue to have difficulties as our friendly staff are always happy to share their knowledge and assist you with your enquiries.

It is important to identify your waste type as certain types of waste are prohibited from being placed in skip bins, while the type of waste affects the price of the skip bin service. It is therefore important to correctly specify your intended waste type, as the placement of other waste types may result in additional disposal charges after your skip bin has been collected.

When selecting the general waste bin you must ensure no other waste types are placed in the skip bin. If this occurs, you will be liable to pay for any additional disposal costs. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for additional information.

Any material containing asbesetos, any form of insulation material, or any other dangerous materials is strictly prohibited.
