Household Waste

No Weight Limit

 

You would choose a Household Waste skip bin for general domestic household or yard clean ups, commercial waste and office cleanups. These includes clothes, toys, paper, kitchen ware, furniture, white goods and electrical items, dry light building waste untreated timber and DRY carpet and light shrubs and grass clippings.


The following items are strictly not allowed in a household waste bin. These include bricks, concrete, soil. Should these items be placed in a Household waste skip bin upon pickup you will be charged a mixed heavy rate

If you require a bin to have the above items we suggest a Mixed Heavy bin.

Other items that are strictly not allowed in a Household Waste skip bin. Perishable waste i.e. food waste, asbestos, hazardous waste, insulation material of any kind, liquids i.e. paint, oils, chemicals, gas bottles, and empty chemical containers. Dry paints in cans are accepted.

It is important to identify your waste type as certain types of waste are prohibited from being placed in skip bins, while the type of waste affects the price of the skip bin service. It is therefore important to correctly specify your intended waste type, as the placement of other waste types may result in additional disposal charges after your skip bin has been collected.

When selecting the light waste bin you must ensure no other waste types are placed in the skip bin. If this occurs, you will be liable to pay for any additional disposal costs. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for additional information.

Any material containing asbesetos, any form of insulation material, or any other dangerous materials is strictly prohibited.
