Green Waste

No Weight Limit
Light green waste e.g. Shrubs, grass clippings & twigs etc... Small branches, leaves & palm fronds etc... Woodchip & bark with NO soil attached. Tree trunks smaller than 150mm in diameter or/and under 1 meter long.

Clean Waste

No Weight Limit
Sand and dirt OR Bricks OR Pebbles and rocks OR Roof and floor tiles OR Concrete (no bigger than 600x600).N.B. Only ONE of the above waste types is allowed in this skip bin.

You would choose General Waste skips for most general household, office or yard cleanups. It is suitable for domestic and commercial waste including light foliage, furniture, light building waste, DRY wood, gyprock and carpet, white goods and electrical can be placed in a general waste skip bin.

A General Waste skip has a weight limit of 150kg per cubic meter. If your bin exceeds this weight limit, suppliers will charge you additional tipping fee per kilo. Excess weight charge will be seen upon your quote process.

It is advisable to limit the following waste types as they are quite heavy and are more likely to exceed your weight limit - Bricks, concrete, soil, tiles, ceramics, large tree trunks, and palm trees. If you require a bin to have the above items we suggest a Mixed Heavy skip.

The following items are strictly not allowed in a General Waste bin. Perishable waste i.e. food waste, asbestos, hazardous waste, insulation material of any kind, liquids i.e. paint, oils, chemicals, gas bottles, and empty chemical containers. Dry paints in cans are accepted.

It is important to identify your waste type as certain types of waste are prohibited from being placed in skip bins, while the type of waste affects the price of the skip bin service. It is therefore important to correctly specify your intended waste type, as the placement of other waste types may result in additional disposal charges after your skip bin has been collected.

When selecting the general waste bin you must ensure no other waste types are placed in the skip bin. If this occurs, you will be liable to pay for any additional disposal costs. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for additional information.
